Life is all about trying new things and Sundays are all about exploring new neighborhoods in Los Angeles. I decided to do both and signed up for a Wunda Chair class in Echo Park—an area I had yet to venture to although it’s only a 6-mile straight shot down Sunset from my apartment. Continue reading

Us Angelenos—and I can say that now that I’ve been here exactly a year ;)—love to stay in the vicinity of our own neighborhoods. Venturing outside means dealing with traffic and parking, two things that induce way more anxiety than necessary. When I was going to be downtown for work, I decided to take advantage of this momentous occasion and book a class in the heart of Los Angeles. Continue reading

Sip and Repeat

I love a good sweat (almost) as much as Rachael, but my workout rarely varies — I go to bar method 4-5 times a week, and occasionally a jog that ends with chocolate. While my workouts don’t always have the diversity we should all strive for, my smoothie game definitely does. I exercise to eat, people!

At the Nike event a couple weeks ago (one of the best nights of my life, seriously), I was put into the class run by Prevail. Two days later, I dabbled in some uppercuts with my Fitspot trainer, James. I was feeling more confident about my technique so I signed up for Box & Tone. Continue reading
